Cycle of Assessment
Cycle of Assessment

Assessments are on-going and continuous that cover scholastic, personality and co-curricular aspects. They are done in such a way that inter-learner comparisons and fear of external examinations are minimized.

Pre-Primary

Assessment are done based on one on one observation of oral, practical and basic written exercise through work sheets.

Primary and Secondary

Classes I and II follow the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for both Scholastic and Co-scholastic performances.

For Scholastic areas Evaluation is through 6 Formative Assessments (FA). Each of this assessment includes 5 skills –Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Activity.

See break up below-

Type of Assessment Percentage of weightage in Academic session Month Term wise weightage
First term
FA - 1 10% April - June FA 1 + FA 2+ FA3 = 50 %
FA - 2 20% July - August
FA - 3 20% September
Second term
FA - 4 10% November FA 4 + FA 5 + FA6 = 50 %
