The Orchid School organised a special Drug Abuse and Cyber Awareness Session for Senior Secondary students to equip them with the knowledge and awareness needed to navigate real-world challenges responsibly.
Senior Police Inspector Mr. Chandrashekhar Sawant led the interactive session, along with Ms. Supriya Mandhare, Ms. Shaila Pathare, Mr. Shriram Kapre, and Mr. Shridhar Sanap.
Drawing from their experience as first responders, the police officials sensitized students to the harmful consequences of drug use and the importance of making informed choices. The discussion also focused on cyber awareness, encouraging students to remain vigilant while using the internet, recognise potential online risks and practise responsible digital behaviour.
The interactive format allowed students to engage directly with the officials, ask questions and gain practical insights into situations they may encounter in everyday life.
At The Orchid School, we believe education extends beyond academics. Sessions such as these help prepare students to become aware, responsible and informed young adults, capable of making safer choices both online and offline.
