    Online Registration Link for Grade I

    For Admission in Grade 1 the child needs to fulfill the age criteria of minimum 6 years of age as on 31st December 2025

    Child should have attended formal preparatory school, studying in Sr. KG or equivalent of Pre-Primary education. This is required for basic readiness for grade I with LSRW.

    Total 35 SEATS – General Category, RTE Admissions, and Sibling / Staff Category are open for admission.

    Category Definitions:

    Sibling: A real brother or sister of the applicant who is on the school roll during the current academic year.

    Only Sibling from immediate family is eligible for the admission. Sibling from extended family will not be considered.

    Please note that in case of cousins staying in a joint family, it will not be considered as siblings. They must approach via general category.

    To avail the admission in Sibling/Staff and General category, online registration is mandatory.

    If failed to complete the online registration, then the parent must apply via general category. No further request for extension would be entertained.

    Staff Quota: The wards of the school employees, i.e. The Orchid School, Pune. The unfilled seats of the staff quota shall spill over to the General Category.

    General Category: There is a cut off for the number of registrations for General Category. However, the form will be closed after the set number of registration. No further request for extension would be entertained.

    RTE Admissions: RTE Implementation at The Orchid School: 25% Seats Reserved: 26 seats available at the STD I level. Eligibility: 25% reservations include SC/ST and students from economically weaker sections (annual income below Rs. 1 lakh).

    Age Criteria: 6 years to 7 years 5 months 30 days for STD I.

    The admission process is in accordance with the rules and guidelines issued by the Education Department.

    Parents must fill up the following details in the online form:

    (Please keep all details handy so that the online form is submitted quickly.)

    Only one application form is to be submitted online for one child. After filling and submitting the online registration form, a registration number is auto generated. You will receive an Email as an acknowledgment with the registration number for reference.

    Information about Pre-Primary School Admission Process

    Dear Parents, Greetings of the day!
    We are pleased to announce that The Orchid School is starting with Pre-Primary School from the Academic Year 2025-26.
    The Pre-Primary domain will have-
    – Nursery (Balvatika 1),
    – Jr.KG (Balvatika 2) and
    – Sr. KG (Balvatika 3)

    The online Admission Registration process for all three classes will begin on Wednesday, 20 th November’24.

    Details for Classes and Admission Process

    1. Class Structure
    o Each class will have one section with a maximum capacity of 30 students.

    2. Admission Criteria
    o Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the submission sequence of online registration forms.
    o Priority will be given to siblings of current students and children of staff members.

    3. Separate Registration Links
    o There will be distinct registration links for the Sibling category and the General category.
    o Online registration is mandatory for all categories of admission.

    Steps for Online Registration

    1. On Wednesday, 20th November 2024, the admission link will be available on the school website under the “Admissions” tab.
    o Sibling Category: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
    o General Category: 12:00 noon

    2. Important Notes:
    o Registration will close once the cut-off limit for forms is reached.
    o Incomplete or delayed registrations will not be accepted. No requests for
    extension will be entertained

    Please ensure timely submission to secure your child’s admission. Parents must fill up the following details in the online form:

    – Previous School Name (if applicable)

    Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

    • The child needs to fulfill age criteria as per mentioned below
    • Nursery – 3 years on 31st December’25
    • Jr. KG – 4 years on 31st December’25
    • Sr. KG – 5 years on 31st December’25

    • The child must have completed formal preparatory education of previous class to get admitted to Jr. KG or Sr. KG.

    The fee includes-

    • Food – 2 meals- snacks for short break and lunch for long break.
    • Teaching Learning Materials- Textbook, Notebook, other material to be used in the class, field visit, concerts, etc.

    Admission Process:
    Date: Sunday, 1st December’24
    Time: 9:00 AM onwards

    The process for admission is mentioned in detail below. Each step of the process is
    mandatory.

    Please note that only parents of students who receive an official invitation for admission will be
    permitted on campus for the designated process.

    1 Token Collection (9:00 AM onwards)
  • All parents who have registered for the admission process and have received an invitation via email from the admission department should come to school at 9:00 AM and collect tokens at the token counter. (Please note that the admission process will be based on token number.)
  • 2 Parent Orientation (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM)
  • This orientation is organized for you to understand the philosophy of the school and the program details.
  • Both parents should attend. The child may avoid this process as this is done to apprise parents about the school and the child may find it difficult to sit through the entire session.
  • After the Orientation, parents must complete document verification, purchase of brochure and admission registration form filling.
  • 3 Document Verification (10:30 AM onwards)
    Please carry along the documents mentioned below:
  • Original Birth Certificate with one photocopy
  • Aadhar Card photocopy (Mandatory)
  • Caste certificate (If other than general category)
  • Medical report (If child has special need, diagnosed report)
  • 1 Passport size photograph
  • Previous class academic report (if applicable)
  • Both parents Aadhar card photocopy
  • 4 Purchase of School Brochure (10:30 AM onwards)
  • This includes the school brochure and all the necessary forms.
  • This can be purchased from Accounts Desk after payment of ₹ 1000.
  • 5 Filling of Admission Registration Form (11:00 AM onwards)
  • All personal details need to be accurate.
  • Carry Aadhar card of your ward to fill the correct Aadhar name and number.
  • 6 Family Meet – Optional
  • Though all the information will be shared during the Parent Orientation, still if you feel the need to interact with Director or Principal, then you can inform the office staff about the same.
  • It is advisable both parents should be present for this meeting.
  • 7 Fee Payment
  • Once the admission process is complete and you have decided to take the admission, the school fee should be paid on the same day
  • 8 Admission Confirmation
  • Post fee clearance, the admission confirmation will be sent via mail in three working days after the amount clearance in the Bank.

    Some Important Points to Note:

    • The admission process will not be continued if any of the above-mentioned criteria for each step is not fulfilled.
    • The admission will be confirmed only once the fee (One time admission fee + 1st fee instalment) has been paid. In case the fee is not paid the seat will not be reserved. We have very limited seats, and it is only fair that we do the process in time.
    • School Management reserves the Final Decision to grant admission.

    Online Registration for Class I Admission

    Parents must register online as the first step. The Admission Link Will Be Open On Sunday, 10th
    November 2024 12:00 PM

    Token Collection
    All registered parents must arrive at school by 9:00 AM to collect tokens from the token counter for the admission process. which will proceed according to token number.
    Step 2
    Parent Orientation
    Orientation for parents to grasp school philosophy and program details. Preferably, both parents attend. Child's attendance optional. Post-orientation parents verify documents, purchase brochure, fill admission form. return for LRC based on announced timing for child's rest.
    Step 3
    Document Verification
    Please bring:
    • Original Birth Certificate + Photocopy
    • Aadhar Card Photocopy (Manatory)
    • Cast certificate (if not general category)
    • Medical report (if child has diagnosed special needs)
    • 1 Passport size photograph
    • Sr. Kg academic report
    One parent can complete this part.
    Step 4
    Purchase of School Brochure
    Includes brochures and forms. Purchase from Accounts Desk after ₹1000 payment.
    Step 5
    Fill Admission Registration Form
    Ensure accurate and complete filling of personal details as asked.
    Step 6
    Level Readiness Check
    Informal interaction between student and teacher. No preparation needed. Specific time schedule provided. one parent accompanies.
    Step 7
    Family Meet
    In case ay parent wishes to meet the Director / Principal - Now is the time just let know one of our staff members.

    Fee Payment
    Complete and seal admission of your ward by paying the fees as per the fee payment schedule

    Admission Confirmation
    An email shall be sent confirming the admission of your ward.

    Enrolment Process and Academic Requirements for Class II-X

    Admissions granted based on availability of seats.

    Availability of seats is updated on the website in periodic manner as and when seat is vacant.

    Class XI

    The PT3/Pre-Board exam results will be taken into consideration for the provisional admission.

    Additional Fee: * Fees for excursions, camps and exchange programs will be communicated as per actuals at the time of organising the program. * The CBSE registration fee will be declared at the time of registration as per the announcement by CBSE.

    Withdrawal Policy

    Application Process:

    i. This process is effective only through written communication in the form of an application.

    ii. Telephonic messages/ Verbal communication or an email will not be considered authentic.

    iii. Written application to be given before the due date of school fees to the school office.

    iv. Transfer Certificate form to be filled which is given from school office and should be duly signed by both the parents as signed at the time of admission.

    v. If the parent is a single parent/ any legal case pending/ a decree etc. submission of relevant documents is mandatory.

    vi. Without the appropriate documents, the school leaving certificate will not be processed.

    Refund of Fee:
    The refund of fees will be as per the school policy mentioned below
