The Orchid School came together to celebrate India’s 77th Republic Day with immense pride, gratitude, and patriotic fervour. This year’s celebration was made even more meaningful as we commemorated 150 glorious years of Vande Mataram—a song that has inspired generations and continues to echo the spirit of unity and freedom.
The day unfolded with solemn respect and joyful expressions—beginning with the unfurling of the Tricolour, followed by heartfelt performances, student reflections, and creative presentations that beautifully captured the essence of our nation and the theme of the year. Each moment reflected the values of democracy, responsibility, and collective spirit that define India as a Republic.
Following the celebrations, an Art Exhibition on the theme “Me Time” provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity and individuality. Through colours, forms, and thoughtful expressions, students beautifully conveyed their ideas, emotions, and perspectives—reminding us of the importance of reflection, balance, and self-expression.
These glimpses from our Republic Day celebration stand as a reminder of our shared heritage and our commitment to nurturing responsible, aware, and creative citizens—rooted in the past, engaged in the present, and hopeful for the future.
