To address ongoing national challenges, our students must develop essential skills such as collaboration, decision-making, and strategic thinking. Recently, PRS Legislative Research hosted the Third Edition of the Inter-School Student Parliament to cultivate these abilities and enhance their understanding of democracy. This event allowed students to engage with national policy issues through legislative activities, including Question Hour and Bill Discussions.
On November 8th, students from The Orchid School—Riya Chavare from grade IX, and Shon Thorat and Tanisha Badigannavar from grade X—had the honor of representing our school and were crowned the WINNERS OF THE WEST ZONE in the esteemed PRS Parliament session. Competing against 30 teams, our students demonstrated exceptional debating, critical thinking, and teamwork skills to secure first place.
This victory opens the door for us to participate in the upcoming National Level session in Delhi.
Congratulations to our champions, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us!
