Our Grade VIII students recently embarked on an enriching field trip to the Center for Science Education and Communication (CSEC) at Pune University. Formerly known as Science Park, this hub of interactive learning offered a hands-on experience that perfectly complemented their Science curriculum while igniting a deeper curiosity about the world of science.
The students delved into a diverse range of exhibits covering key topics in Biology and Physics. Engaging in demonstrations on concepts like sound, friction, light, and pressure allowed them to witness the practical applications of scientific principles in everyday life. Immersive displays on human anatomy, ecosystems, and environmental science further enriched their understanding of biological concepts. These interactive exhibits brought abstract theories to life, making complex ideas tangible and relatable.
The trip fostered an environment where students could freely explore, ask questions, and discuss ideas. By experiencing science in action, they gained a profound appreciation for how classroom concepts translate to the real world. This stimulating experience inspired curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science, leaving a lasting impact on their young minds.
