Class IV students at our school recently hosted an extraordinary event, ‘Nag Panchami – Sarpotsav’, a multilingual celebration of literature, art, dance, and music, with the central theme of snakes. The event was designed to educate and entertain, showcasing the talents and creativity of our young learners. The fair was divided into two exciting parts:
Part 1: Educative Fair in the Atrium
In the first part, held in the school atrium, students enthusiastically shared their knowledge about snakes through interactive and fun-filled activities. They used creative methods such as games, quizzes, and art displays to inform parents about the importance of snakes in the ecosystem, busting myths and presenting facts in an engaging way. Through narrating stories and singing songs, students explored the significance of snakes in Greek, Egyptian, and Hindu mythology. They also integrated various subjects such as Math, Social Science, Science, Languages, and Art to investigate the world of snakes, creating a multidisciplinary learning experience.
Part 2: Students’ Performance in the Auditorium
The second part of the event took place in the auditorium, where the students displayed their acting, dialogue delivery, singing, and dancing skills. Through captivating performances, they brought to life stories and folklore surrounding Nag Panchami, leaving the audience amazed by their confidence and stage presence.
The event was not only entertaining but also a valuable learning experience for the students, helping them develop key skills such as public speaking, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. It was heartwarming to see how they embraced the theme and brought their ideas to life with such enthusiasm and dedication.
The parents thoroughly enjoyed the show and shared their joy and appreciation with the staff and students after the program, making it a truly memorable event for all involved.
