On 8th January 2025, at around 8 AM group of enthusiastic 5th Std students from The Orchid School embarked on an exciting adventure camp at the picturesque Raanfula. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by serene landscapes, Raanfula provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend filled with fun, learning, and exploration.
The adventure camp was organized with the aim of fostering teamwork, resilience, and a sense of independence among our young adventurers. It was a carefully planned initiative to help the children step out of their comfort zones, embrace challenges, and develop essential life skills in a safe yet stimulating environment. The kids of Vth Dahlia, Petunia and Zinnia were immersed in a variety of thrilling activities. The camp offered something for everyone, including:
- Visit to the agro farm where they enjoyed learning how plants like Anthurium and Strawberries are grown.
- The zip-line ride across the lake was a crowd favorite, as the children zoomed through the air with wide grins and joyful shrieks.
- A series of fun and challenging obstacles tested their agility, balance, and determination.
The adventure camp was not just about physical activities. It was a wonderful opportunity for the kids to bond with their peers, practice problem-solving, and build self-confidence. As the camp came to an end, the children returned with unforgettable memories, stronger friendships, and a newfound appreciation for nature and adventure.
