“A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.”

The Orchid School is dedicated to nurturing students and fostering tomorrow’s leaders. The Investiture ceremony is a key event that plays a significant role in this process. This ceremony at TOS is essential for assigning responsibilities to elected students, empowering them to lead the student community with their decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
During the Investiture ceremony at TOS, a school prefectorial board is established through a rigorous selection process involving interviews. This process aims to familiarize students with the election process and the functions of an official administrative body. The chosen students receive badges reflecting their roles. This year welcoming and congratulating the elected members Head Girl – Samiksha Shetiya, Head Boy – Mihir Apte, and student captains – Gargi Baste and Sarrveshkumar Tambe (Udaan House), Ishani Patil and Adit Shetty (Unnati House), Anika Mahashabde and Arjun Patil (Umang House), and Bhumi Pande with Keshav Pazhayannur (Ujala House). These students form the newly elected School Council Representatives Committee and pledge to diligently serve the school.
The Investiture Ceremony at TOS is significant as it provides students with leadership opportunities, marks their transition into selected school representatives, fosters personal growth and character development, and encourages interaction and mentorship across all school grades. This ceremony at TOS plays a vital role in fostering school spirit, shaping the school’s culture, and moulding the future leaders.
