The Science Quiz Finals for the middle school was conducted on 30/01/2019 at the TOS Auditorium.

Based on the semi-finals held class wise earlier this year, the winning team from each class was Class V - Khakhi, Class VI Iris, Class VII Coral and Class VIII Sappire.

The three teams for the final comprised of one student from each class namely Class V, VI, VII and VIII.

The Quiz masters for the finals were the science teachers - Sienna Di, Purva Di, Rinku Di and Swapna Di. Diksha Di was the time keeper while Monika Di was the score keeper.

The quiz ran through five rounds of questions which was a good mix of questions in the form of MCQ's, Visual rounds, identifying famous personalities etc. The buzzer round as always, gave an opportunity for the teams to challenge each other with a closely competing scores.

The winning team was Pranav Suryawanshi from class VIII, Siya Gangoli from class VII, Sameer Datar from class VI and Ishita Patil from class V.

The first Runners up team was Sandeep Nallamilli – class VIII, Ananya Bhavnani – class VII, Mithili Pramod – class VI and Ira Nanekar - class V.

The second Runners up team was Prachi Gulmire from class VIII, Nirav Chakraborty from class VII, Aryan Shivdasani from class VI and Arnav Bhosle from class V.

Atreyi Di, our unit head for the middle school congratulated the winners and the participants as each child had come through two gruelling rounds of competition to make it to the finals. The tough competition amongst the teams in the final was a clear indication of this. In recognition of this, every competitor was awarded with certificates.
