As a part of the integrated curriculum, our Class VII students were taken for an overnight rural camp to AGRI TOURISM CENTRE, PALSHIWADI, BARAMATI.
The objectives of this camp are: • to appraise all students about the socio economic milieu in a rural set up. • to make them aware of local self-governance. • create awareness among the students about the degree of rural development.
The three sections of class VII were taken for their rural camp in three batches from 22/01/2019 to 25/01/2019. and were accompanied by their class teachers and subject teachers.

The team left for the Agri Tourism Centre around 6.45 AM from school and reached the camp site between 9.00 and 9.30 AM on all the three days. They enjoyed the warm welcome given by the locals, had their breakfast and left for the sugar factory tour.
Students were taken on a guided tour of the sugar factory which was enjoyed by each one of them.
After the sugar factory tour, the students and teachers reached the Jaggery factory. Students were seen curious to understand the process behind the making of jaggery.
The next activity planned for day 1 of the camp was the Nandan Milk Diary.
Students then visit the local school and interact with students of similar grade level.
The visit to the Gram Panchayat was fruitful and students got to connect with the topics studied in social science through live interaction with the Panchayat team.
Interaction with the Sarpanch of the village was indeed a unique experience for our students.
After the visit to the Gram Panchayat, it was time for some fun and masti experiencing the tractor and bullock cart rides.
After having some snacks and tea, the students had some time to review the days activities and free time.
Evening was made memorable with a lovely cultural event followed by campfire and fun with school mates.
The day 2 morning started with our enthusiastic kids waking up early and all set for the morning walk to experience the flora and fauna of the village.
