Witness Interviews were scheduled for 25-08-2018 and 01-09-2018. Students connected with the witnesses who have migrated from within India as well as from abroad. They interviewed their witnesses to understand their migration journey.

Long Table Project 2018 witnesses were identified and invitations were sent to invite the witnesses for a meeting with the students.

Long Table is a unique, enriching, oral history project, honoring migration stories in collaboration with Lange Tafel Germany. The idea was conceptualized by Ms. Isabella Mamatis from Germany and the project has so far travelled from Berlin, Germany to LosAngeles, USA and going global. In the year 2017, The Orchid School had the privilege to be the first school in India, to adopt this project for its students of class VII. Year 2018 will be the second year of the project at TOS.
