FIELD TRIP – CLASS II THE SEVEN WONDERS THEME PARK - PARVATHI 4th 6th and 9th December
It was an invigorating day out for the children! It was a complete package of fun, thrill and learning. The children saw life like models of the seven wonders of the world.
Students observed the shapes and patterns used in all the monuments. We also discussed many facts about these monuments.
They were thereafter divided into groups. Each group was allotted a monument. They sat in front of their respective monuments and each student of the group drew the patterns within the line drawing of the monument given to them on a A4 page. Students thoroughly enjoyed this activity.
This field trip has not only fortified but also further enhanced their knowledge about ‘shapes and patterns’ They also learnt about the usage of shapes and patterns in design and construction of buildings. This was a truly incredible field trip experience!
