Field Trip Class VIII - 7th September 2019
The field trip for class VIII was integrated with the Ganpati festival that is going on in the city this month. Children started the entire activity by watching a documentary on how the festival was initiated in the early days by Lokmanya Tilak.
Following this, they went on a trip to visit Bhausaheb Rangari Museum and got to know more about how the revolutionaries met and planned their activities during the freedom struggle.
Interestingly they had a lovely opportunity to interact with one of the descendants of Bhausaheb Rangari, who gave them an authentic brief of the place.
Children were astounded when they got to know about the central locking system of the doors which were devised 128 years back.
This was definitely an enriching trip for the students giving them exposure to the culture behind Ganesh Utsav In Pune.
