The National Katha Utsav is a 3-day literary event for children where selected students get an opportunity to meet and be mentored by professional national and international writers, poets, illustrators, artists, filmmakers, theatre artists, director, expressive arts practitioners and translators in writing workshops. The Orchid School is hosting the Katha Utsav - Regional Writing Workshop for the West Zone on November 1st and Second in the school premises

The event started with the lighting of the lamp and a welcome note from our principal Namrata Di, followed by a prayer.

Students of our school welcomed the esteemed mentors and the students and teachers from all over India and presented a beautiful dance depicting the value of education.

Regional Writers Workshop : The Katha Utsav team is conducting this workshop at TOS where the young writers from different schools will be guided by the mentors and will be eventually submitting original, engaging stories/ translations/poems that show sensitivity towards other beings. The best ones will be selected for the Katha Utsav finale to be held in Delhi during the last week of December.
