We also thank every dedicated teacher of TOS who has gone out of their way and supported these students either by helping them in creating lesson plans or with their presence as the students delivered the curriculum.

We congratulate all the students on taking up the responsibility of the internship and seeing it to its logical conclusion. We hope that these students will inspire others to take on such learning experiences that not only add such great value to their journey of education, but also give them an opportunity to make a difference.

I wouldn't be wrong at all if I say LPF is really an enriching experience ranging from (your own) learning to teaching others; it's a complete experience. I have tried to assimilate values as much as possible from the internship - Sai Narra, Class XI

From this experience I learnt many life skills such as working in a team, planning, managing time and making myself approachable to others. I also became a better communicator. - Prathamesh Salunke, Class X

Feb 7, 2018

It was very pleasurable to see how enthusiastic they are about learning and I think it made us very happy to actually see that we can make a difference. And of course the struggle of maintaining a class of 35 made us respect our teachers much more. We also learnt a lot while planning this session. We have learnt skills like teamwork and time management. - Kishor Pandya, Class XI

I learnt how teaching is not a one way thing (I knew that but I had never experienced it) and the students need to want to learn if I want them to learn. If the students have a desire to learn, it is easy to teach. The LJs had a desire to learn to operate a computer. So it went well. Teaching is fun too. I saw a classroom from the teacher’s point of view for the first time. - Aryan Kulkarni, Class IX

Feb 7, 2018

The students were able to perform the activities and enjoyed it. During the revision they were answering our questions and promised us to practice regularly in their school. They even said that they will remember us when they open their computers. - Vedant Munot, Class XI

I think it was a very different and great experience and I don't think we would have had this opportunity anywhere else. Teaching the girls was amazing and I’m sure even the interns learnt a lot from this entire teaching experience. All of us developed a certain bond with the girls. - Reva Sable, Class IX

The joy and learnings the last batch took back with them was my incentive to help these students make the most out of this opportunity. We took our feedback from the last batch and made sure we could improve this session and I feel that it helped. This experience has added so much value in our lives and changed our perspective to the world. It has created an empowering realization that we can make a difference. - Sahil Patkar, Class XI

This internship taught me what it means to be a teacher. I loved interacting with the children and teaching them things they didn't know. I think that they understood the concept very well and can now operate the computer themselves. - Riti Desai, Class IX

Feb 7, 2018

I learnt the importance of managing time. This is internship really help me to (improve) my teaching skills. My leadership qualities have also improved. I will never forget this terrific experience. - Arya Gupta, Class XI
