My dearest colleagues,  ( teachers, all service staff and the fine arts team included) 

What an evening! What a show! The celebration must still be hanging in the air. 

This note is not another expression of gratitude but an acknowledgement for our team spirit. 

When we as adults come together and work for a common goal, it is reflected in our children. 
When we give our best - in the design, plan, conceptualisation, art as skill and attitude, the purpose of why we we do and how we do - our children absorb it and present it ( as a gift) back to us. When we truly believe that every child is capable of and is good at something, the child lives up to our expectation. When we search for something to appreciate in each child we will find that spark. 

This is what unfolded on the stage yesterday. This is the true meaning and purpose of education. This is the true " return gift" for our Founders' Day. 

So, let us, with belief and determination , rededicate ourselves to this " treasure hunt". 

No child can get out of its school education of 10 odd years without being showered with opportunities , appreciation for something he / she possesses. 

I am very very proud to be part of this highly motivated team.
